Encounters are our undoing and sometimes our launchpad. I remember back in 2023, while I slept due to my negligence (not as you think). An acquaintance once saw my mood and offered we go and have lunch. Reluctant as I was, I decided why not, his brother has been of help before. The lunch isn't the issue that caught my attention, but the encounter with a lady at the venue. She retorted, " it's just one day you can take to know someone". That has been resonating in my thought, although I could have made assumptions and acted on such, my assumption didn't bring any negative externality. I assumed and moved on hoping for the best for especially myself. Fast forward, a man told me 'wo ndwen wo ho'? to wit won't you think about yourself? Although as events unfold, I am beginning to understand things better, the people we encounter are potential launchpads to our calling. They can certainly be our doom too. You therefore have to if possible, strategically position yourself such that you do not land yourself among people that will be your undoing. You need those that will elevate you, guide you and if the need arises, support you.
