Planning on what next, acting on what is

Moses was asked by God in the book of Exodus what was in his hands? He thought then he had nothing that God could use to create an awe and inspiring scene. A rod and a choice created an awe then in Pharaoh's palace a repetition. Moses doubted the possibility of his rod changing in the bush but didn't in pharaoh's palace. He had prove and logic was on his side. While in primary school a passage, 'Alidu and his goat' in which the goat caused a not so pleasing experience for Alidu. He was the trainer but, the goat was the actor. In it the goat was to speak to make others realize what his master is capable of, but the goat stayed mute. As it was fed and with other urges, it still refused to speak. The master had earlier told them of the prowess of his goat but the goat refused to act on the day of reckoning. The audience had no option but to rule against him and then cause him to receive a beating. Macho men came holding him armed ready for the beat. Then the goat proclaimed through speech 'don't beat my master' ' don't beat my master'. The goat acted at the eleventh hour and saved the day.

Back in Junior high school our mathematics tutor described some students as training horses. Those who perform so well during training and fail during the actual showdown. How then can we be certain who amongst us are training horses? Who is like my mathematics teacher expecting greatness? Who is like the God that gave Moses a task? The goat that was awesome until it wasn't and then it was, Moses who had proof and logic and decided to act believing in the sender and finally, who may become Alidu who gets saved at the eleventh hour?
