Friendship and Returns

To an audience ready for a presentation on friendship, friendship will always bring mix feelings. The woman that was saved by a kidney transplant from a friend will be all smiles: a colleague that lost a husband due to a friend's negligence will certainly be all teary. The topic of friendship brings memories that evokes different reactions. About ten years ago while a tutor of a Sunday School, I saw promise in the children I tutored. One of the advice outside scripture that I still think is worth a thousand bushels of wheat was "Don't let you 'friends' choose you, choose your friends". This may sound absurd, why not allow others choose us if we are worthy. To address let's assume, all persons are neutral in terms of who a breadwinner is. Which will you prefer, you choose a husband or wife, or a husband or wife chooses you? You guessed right. A mentor and all time legendary global investment professional: Warren Buffett once said, you marry the best person that will have you. If in doubt or snubbed, choose the best person that will be a friend
