Three Sides to a coin, three angles to a story
One of the thought provoking piece I have read was; paraphrasing. There are three sides to any story, 'your truth', 'their truth' and 'the truth'.
When I say three sides to a coin I must expect raised eyebrows. Three sides, a coin? How about heads and tails? Coins, plane figures? What does shape and space say? Cylinders they must be. Base circles and its height. The base heads or tails could be your truth and their truth. The last part of the 3D shape/object is then the height. The height although in a coin's case is short does not downplay the relevance of heights in cylinders. The height thence presents the third side to the coin symbolizing the third angle to a story; the truth. It holds the story. The intersection of the truth and either stories makes room for judgement. The larger the intersection, the larger or more plausible a side is. The height shifting away from coins is what holds the story. The truth stands and is seen because the height supports and makes it visible. Unless the cylinder lies.
