Isn't it surprising that over the years the definition of beauty by my observation has remained the same. I have been drawn to beauty pageants growing up. From Miss Ghana, to Miss World, then Miss Universe, Miss Malaika and then Ghana's Most Beautiful. From the modalities of beauty pageants we begin to see what is considered as beautiful. As far as I can remember the definition has not changed. The marketing campaigns and the wordings used to attract these queens has been consistent. The criteria during audition and that when crowning has been very much similar taking exception with Ghana's Most Beautiful, the definition and these queens have been of particular instance. Purpose on the other hand has been described differently. Purpose getting altered seem to be the new normal. It has been given a new connotation because the modern world has given room to view purpose as something that the individual chooses. Assuming that holds for all. The choices we make affects not only us but those that come after us. The choices the forerunners of beauty pageants made has laid a foundation for what beauty is. Any instance that goes against beauty as set by the conveners of these pageants becomes a hindrance. They have been able to create a yardstick for generations! Why should purpose be different? Who instigates it? To be safe, Signup for Ensurance, It comes as a cushion.
